✨ The Role
As a Smart Contract Engineer, you’ll architect the next generation of governance systems:
- Design secure, modular contracts for cross-chain governance (EVM & non-EVM).
- Integrate cutting-edge tech like zk-proofs (Succinct SP1), MACI private voting, and WorldID.
- Collaborate with leading protocols to tailor governance solutions for their ecosystems.
This is a role for builders obsessed with decentralization and pushing the limits of onchain coordination.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
1. Smart Contract Development
- Write secure, gas-optimized code using Foundry (testing/debugging).
- Build modular governance primitives (veTokens, cross-chain execution).
2. Emerging Tech Integration
- Implement privacy-first systems (MACI, TEEs, ZKPs).
- Explore account abstraction and L2 governance innovations.
3. Protocol Partnerships
- Work directly with clients (e.g., Scroll, Uniswap) to solve their governance challenges.
- Advise on token design, voting mechanisms, and upgradeability.
🔍 Who We’re Looking For
✅ Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years in Solidity with shipped governance/DeFi protocols.
- Mastery of Foundry – testing, scripting, and deployment.
- Security-first mindset – experience with audits/pen testing.
- Deep governance curiosity – veTokens, delegation, DAO tooling.
✅ Nice-to-Haves:
- Contributions to open-source governance projects.
- Experience with non-EVM chains (Cosmos, Solana, Move).
